First Sign 7 in 1 drug testing multipanel dip test FDA & CE marked 99% accurate, each panel give 7 seperate results for the following drugs

HOW TO DO A FIRSTSIGN URINE DRUG TEST

First collect your urine sample. for optimum results allow the urine sample to cool to room temperature (about 20mins)

The reason the manufacturer gives this advice is explained by the fact that all the batch certification and and laboratory quality testing is performed on urine at room temperature.

Performing a test on a urine sample at 37 degrees (body temp) is not likely to reduce the accuracy in reality.

When you are ready to conduct the drug test open the first sign foil and remove the drug test panel. Pull off the cover to reveal the membrane prongs and dip into the urine sample to, but not above the maximum dip level line as indicated graphically on the membrane.

Remove the panel from the  sample after 5 to 15 seconds and replace the cover. Lay the test flat and start timing.

Read the results at between 5 and 10 minutes. Some membranes may be slower to run than others but all membranes should have a clear C line, this is the control line to show that enough urine has been absorbed.

The result will be negative if a clear T test line is present under the C line. This indicates none of the drug has been detected for that test membrane. Even a faint or partial T line should be interpreted as a clear negative result.

The thickness, colour and saturation of T test lines varies enormously, you will note this when comparing the 7 results, some are dark, some pale. This is perfectly normal.

Do not attempt to interpret the varying colours as having any significance, they have no reference to concentrations or drug levels in the sample.

If there is absolutely no T test line showing and a clear C control line after 10 minutes this is a positive result and indicates the drug has been detected in the sample at levels above the cut off set for the test.

These cut off levels vary depending on the drug group and have been chosen to allow and exclude for passive environmental exposure or contamination.

For instance the THC cut off level of 50ng means that no one will test positive from passive inhalation of other peoples smoke, as studies have proven it is not possible to excrete over 50ng without direct significant THC use.

If the test results are all negative the test panel can be left to dry, and some agencies photocopy the panel to keep a record if required. If a test result is positive it is good practice to take a drug consumption history to include street drug and prescription and over the counter medicines.

If you need to confirm the test result the best method is a laboratory gas chromatography / mass spectrometry test which will specifically identify the drug compound causing the result. If you purchase EMIT drug test confirmation, all you will get is a laboratory performed dip test repeated on the sample.
