Most drugs agencies use either drug test cassette tests or multipanel drug screens for their urine drug screening programmes.
Sometimes the combination of drug groups on a multipanel drug test card are not all of clinical interest, or specific to that patient, so it makes financial sense to just screen specifically for the drug groups of interest, which will determine the clinical treatment path for that patient.
Individual drug test cassettes are the traditional single drug urine screens used by clinics. Each is packed with a pipette, to load the urine sample into a sample well with a control and test line marked on the cassette.
